We reported in December 2013 that Old Man Gloom, which features members of Converge, Isis, Cave In and others, was in the studio. The band even treated their fans to a new song live recently! This has to mean there's going to be a new album soon, right?

According to The PRP, the new Old Man Gloom album will be titled Ape of God and will be released on November 11 via Profound Lore Records. I think it's safe to assume the new song we heard above will probably be on the record.
As for the movie, it's called Old Man Gloom: Here Is A Gift For You, and will be coming out soon. Here's the trailer:
