MASSIVE Audio Roundup: New Music From CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, PROTEST THE HERO, DEVILDRIVER, DARKEST HOUR, WEEDEATER, NEURAXIS, SCALE THE SUMMIT

It's been a while since we've done an audio roundup, which means this is going to be a bit longer than your usual roundup. So I'll stop yapping and let's get to the music:'

Cavalera Conspiracy have unleashed the first teaser (above) from their upcoming release, Blunt Force Trauma, for the track "Killing Inside" and guess what? It sounds exactly as you would expect a Max Cavalera track to sound. Not to say it's bad, it's pretty good…but they aren't exactly reinventing the wheel.

Protest The Hero just posted the first new track from their upcoming release, Scurrilous on their Facebook page. The track is "C'est La Vie." You don't even need to "like" them to hear it, they just let you stream it, and it's awesome. Highly recommended! Also, you can keep up with the band as they recorded their album via their Stewdio Pupdates.

DevilDriver have a new album, Beast, coming out in a few weeks and they are making sure you can hear new music from it before you choose to buy/download it. You can stream "Bring The Fight (To The Floor)" here and Coldblooded here

Darkest Hour's The Human Romance is upon us! It comes out February 22nd and you can stream two tracks from the album: Your Everyday Disaster and Savor The Kill. I'm really digging this new material from the band and I'm pretty pumped to hear the whole thing. If you recall, the band first discussed the new album exclusively with us on their most recent tour. Watch that interview here

OMFG! I'm glad I just burned one, because Weedeater is streaming a new track over at Brooklyn Vegan. Yes! I'm listening to the track as I write this blurb and the low-end on my speakers is about to burst. Just how I like it!

If you like your metal with a tinge of death and a splash of technicality, then check out this new track from Canada's Neuraxis.

Finally, if you want sit back and chill to an instrumental quartet that is really good at playing their instruments, then ride the groove waves provided by Scale The Summit as their track "Whales" has just premiered over at MetalSucks. I've heard their entire new album, The Collective, which comes out March 1st, and I can't get it out of my rotation. If you like bands like Cynic and Animals As Leaders, this one is a no-brainer!

So there you have it. Which tracks did you check out and which ones blew you away?
