It's great, which should surprise nobody.

Ian Slayer CI

Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian and his son (and Honeybee drummer) Revel Young Ian are back with a second Slayer cover, this time with Revel back on drums. The duo have taken on Slayer's "Criminally Insane" off the Reign in Blood record, which also doubled as a Father’s Day present for Scott! Now go and get your entire brain destroyed by Slayer riffs and the monstrous power of a very talented father-son duo.

"Happy birthday to my man Revel!" said Scott Ian in the post. "I love you Rev and I am so proud of you and everything you’ve accomplished! Your passion for music is so inspiring and blows my mind every day! And thank you for this incredible Father’s Day present – getting to jam Slayer with you!!! Sing along everybody!"

Anthrax will release their 40th anniversary livestream show as Anthrax XL on July 15. As for Honeybee, they also released their hard rockin' new album that you can check out here. The Ian family has previously covered "Blood And Thunder" by Mastodon, "Territory," "Refuse/Resist," and "Roots Bloody Roots" by Sepultura, System Of A Down's "Bounce," Helmet's "In The Meantime," "Holiday" by Turnstile, and "Here To Stay" by Korn. They're all great, so take your pick.
