Metal and zombies... as good a combination as ever.

About a year back we posted about Hairmetal Shotgun Zombie Massacre: The Movie, written by Justin Whitney and directed by Josh Vargas, which is an amazing title for a movie. The film will feature Lamb Of God frontman Randall Blythe, Morbid Angel frontman David Vincent and Slayer frontman Tom Araya, though we haven't seen any footage of the film… until now. Check out this behind-the-scenes feature and a trailer for the movie, which is sure to pique your interest.

Oh, and the soundtrack is going to be done by both Tim “Ripper” Owens (ex-Judas Priest, etc) and Marzi Montazeri (Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals)! Just in case you needed your memory refreshed on the movie, here's the synopsis.

Hairmetal Shotgun Zombie Massacre: The Movie centers on a hairmetal band that is struggling to find its own identity. The members decide to record their first full length album in a creepy cabin located in the middle of a notorious cemetery. Chock-full of weed, coke, and booze, the band discovers a secret in the cellar and unwittingly opens a gate that allows demons to possess the corpses in the surrounding cemetery. Forced to survive the night and with the odds getting slimmer, the band must battle hordes of the demonic undead and hope to get a record deal somewhere in the process.”

Right. This movie is going to be amazing.
