It’s Monday and Mondays suck, so let’s grind it out with a video premiere for Bind Torture Kill’s “Nourrir le singe.”
France’s Bind Torture Kill has been kicking around for a few years. They first debuted in 2013 but released Condamné in 2016. And since then, the band has been fairly quiet, not releasing solo or split EPs or demos. However, 2018 is right around the corner and the band is gearing up to release Viscères early in the new year. And here’s a taste of what’s to come.
Bind Torture Kill maintain a punk approach with “Nourrir le singe.” The song sticks to the simple and builds on it. It’s like classic 80s hardcore delving straight into 80s grindcore. The riffing straight punk, no ifs ands or buts. Once the vocals kick in the song picks up the intensity. And as quickly as you’d think it’s over, it isn’t. The song clocks in at over three-minutes. The piece keeps up the speed, breaks things down and stays raw as hell.
As for the video, it’s ugly. If you’ve got a needle phobia you’re probably going to curl up and weep.
Viscère is set to release January 26, 2018.
