Apparently the X-Games are still a thing and Metallica is playing at them this year. Which one is a bigger shock to you? For me it's the latter, definitely, alongside the fact that Glitch Mob decided to promote the whole thing with a remix of Metallica's "Lords of Summer." Just in case people weren't aware of who this silly Metallica band was! You can find their demo online somewhere.
The remix isn't really all that bad, I just wish it would do something. We get it- you took the guitar riff and made it all keyboard-glitchy. What else? The answer to that question is "uh… glitch?" It's really not a bad remix when it comes right down to it, I just wish it had more substance.
The X-Games will take place in Austin, TX, on Jun. 6.
