Here is a sweet video I found on Metalsucks of drummer extraordinaire Charlie Z. submitting a video audition for Dream Theater. He apparently was not asked formally to audition, but got wind of what piece of music the band was asking people to play and decided to submit his own video. The dude totally rips it. And, are we really surprised? He's been in Behold… The Arctopus and Blotted Science, two incredibly techy bands. So this is almost like a walk in the park for Charlie. He makes it look easy, even throwing in a stick flip. The best part of this video: no shitty vocals.
