The name Blut Aus Nord was floating around a lot between 2010 and 2013 with their three album series 777 between 2011 and 2012, as well as their three EP series What Once Was… between the latter span of time. Now, two years after their last LP, the band returns with yet another installment of a trilogy! Blut Aus Nord has announced they'll be releasing their Memoria Vetusta III – Saturnian Poetry on October 10 via Debemur Morti Productions! Presumably the album picks up where 2009's Memoria Vetusta II: Dialogue with the Stars, but enough with the chronicling of the band's history. Let's take a listen!
So I'm pretty intrigued to hear what this record has to offer. It's like a foggier Borknagar with a whole bunch of added retro black metal thrown in. As is usually the case with the group, Blut Aus Nord are cooking up something solid and I'm sitting here hungry as hell. Bring it!
