Born of The Storm is the official name of the collaboration between Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton and Devildriver frontman Dez Fafara. Recently, they added session drummer to the stars Kevin Talley into the mix.
About two years ago, the project releases two free tracks for download and now that Lamb of God is on a bit of a hiatus, I guess Morton has time to focus on other musical projects.
The band just released a new tune called "Secrets" which you can download for free right here.
Much like the Willie Adler tune we posted about earlier today, you can hear the Lamb of God stylings in this, but this is certainly not a Lamb of God track. It's a much bluesier track and Dez does some clean screams on here. I'm digging the sound of this project and would be interested in hearing more.
