Not content with letting the US and Canada monopolizing the global tech-death throne, the UK's A Trust Unclean have made it their prerogative to smash their brand into the face of anyone lucky enough to witness it. This particular group of string and skin abusing gentlemen have already released a tremendously enjoyable EP this summer and now have a ripping playthrough of title track "Relinquished Reality" available for thine eyes.
There's a lot of tech death floating around these days so it's easy to skip over a lot of these acts if they don't come with label backing. If you can get past the fact that this band are not on Unique Leader then you'll be fairly surprised that they do indeed rip just as hard as Archspire (without the endless guitar noodling) and drop bombs in the vein of early Whitechapel. "Reality Relinquished" is the perfect introduction to A Trust Unclean. It's wicked, wild and a little bit wiggnorant in all of the right places; that opening riff is stacked as hell! The lead work is refined without being too simple and the all out mosh moments are plentiful. Don't skip over this one, or risk missing out on some sweet, sweet, sounds.
