Before he was the Prince of Darkness or one of the godfathers of heavy metal, Ozzy Osbourne was living at 14 Lodge Road in Aston, Birmingham with his parents and five siblings. Whoever owns that house now is renting out Ozzy's childhood bedroom for £400. Ozzy recently told British GQ is a little ridiculous.
"He charges £400 a night. The fucking house weren’t worth £300! They must be doing an expensive extension on the bathroom," Ozzy said.
When asked if he ever visited, Ozzy couldn't believe he lived in that tiny house. "I tell you what was really weird: I went back to that house many years after I left. When you’re little everything seems massive. But that house was me, my mum and dad and my five sisters and brothers – eight of us in this house. It’s so tiny, I’m going, ‘How the hell did we do this?'"
According to NME, the two-bedroom home up for rent is located at 14 Lodge Road in Aston, Birmingham.
Ozzy was recently awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by British GQ magazine as part of their Men of the Year issue, and is looking pretty damn good on the magazine's cover!
