In a new video promoting Ozzfest Japan, Sharon Osbourne announced that Black Sabbath's performance at the festival this November would be Black Sabbath's farewell. Here's the video:

Does Sharon mean Black Sabbath's farewell to Japan or farewell in general? My money is on this just being their final Japanese shows due to an interview with Ozzy last September where he stated the band will write a new album in 2015 and do one final tour. Of course, there is a chance the entire album will be written and released in time for the fall, but I'd say the chance is very slim. Sabbath took at least a year working on their most recent release, 13, so I doubt they'd rush this next album, which will likely be their last one ever.
So will this be Sabbath's final gig ever? Probably not. But it's a great marketing hook.
