Gruesome, consisting of Exhumed guitarist and vocalist Matt Harvey, ex-Malevolent Creation drummer Gus Rios, Possessed guitarist Daniel Gonzalez and Derkéta bassist Robin Mazen, is a self-proclaimed Death worship band for very obvious reasons. Fortunately, in the realm of bands that are meant to sound like other bands, Gruesome still manages to carve out its own identity and flesh out some killer tunes! For instance, take the title track off the group's upcoming record Savage Land.
Just in case you've still got skin on your face after that inferno of a track, check out the band's other single and then get sad that you've still got to wait another month until Savage Land comes out (Apr. 21).
