Black metal phenomenon Lamp Of Murmuur just got off tour with Blackbraid and Dödsrit, and has revealed they're working on a new album! Lamp Of Murmuur is currently working on the follow-up to 2023's Saturnian Bloodstorm alongside debut albums and demos from associated projects Magus Lord, Thörennkammagön, and Silent Thunder.
Lamp Of Murmuur wrote of the new material (in typically overly wordy black metal speak): "After a brief moment to gather energies from the insurmountable weight of our live manifestations during the On Wings of Sacred Death tour with Blackbraid and Dödsrit, I rise from the oneiric mist to raise my spear and salute all of you who were part of this tremendous campaign.
"Together we stormed the gates of ecstasy, as the Metamorphosis of the Saturnian Prince is almost complete. We danced into the night, lust bound. We felt your fire and for that, we are eternally grateful.
"Now, it's time for me to return to sunburnt lands and continue crafting the next step on this entity's journey. Not only that, but many more deviations are being created right now. These are [the aforementioned projects].
"Shall our paths be bound to a night of pain and pleasure again, soon… THE SPEARS STILL RULE SUPREME! HAILS!!!"
