After the initial wave of shock from the Tim Lambesis arrest for allegedly trying to hire a hitman to murder his wife, the mainstream media has been pretty silent about the whole case. Until yesterday, when the lowest scum of journalism, HLN's Nancy Grace decided to tackle the issue with the subtlety that she is known for.
For those of you who don't have cable or care about cable news, HLN is basically CNN2, like CNN but with far more editorial than news, as evidenced by her show. Grace dedicated about 20 minutes of her show last night, according to Lambgoat, and she simply could not believe that a Christian would have a mistress and hire a hitman. Here is a tweet with the hash tag that her show was promoting, #ChristianRockMurderPlot:
He’s blaming steroids? I’ve never heard that a side-effect of steroid use could be sex with a mistress #ChristianRockMurderPlot?

And here is a snippet of her report from last night…
The one thing she could not get off of is that he had an affair, something that I personally did not recall. But to be fair, this trial has been going on now for over 6 months, so I actually had to go back and look and during the initial prosecution presentation, they alleged that Lambesis' wife filed for divorce after she learned he had multiple affairs, and that was the catalyst that set this all off.
It's kind of a bummer that the mainstream media only seems to pay attention to metal when there is tragedy, like a death or something like this. On top of that, they apparently got #ChristianRockMurderPlot trending on twitter, so here are some highlights:
