AS I LAY DYING Announces First 2025 Show Since Lineup Implosion

One might say they're headed to rockville.

Welcome to Rockville has been announcing waves of artists every single day, and one really stood out over the weekend – As I Lay Dying. For those unaware, As I Lay Dying is currently vocalist Tim Lambesis and nobody else, and everyone has quit the band. No word on who's in the band (if anyone right now), but Lambesis has until Welcome to Rockville kicks off in May to figure it out.

In a lengthy statement after everyone had quit and their European tour had been cancelled, Lambesis said in part: "Now, regarding what's next: AILD was founded on persistence and determination. For anyone who is familiar with the foundational years from 2000-2004, you know that more than 20 people (whom I'm incredibly grateful for) have come and gone to help bring to life this vision I've had in my head since I was 19 years old. I look forward to building a new team, and creating an atmosphere that is supportive, positive, and fosters a creative environment."

So yeah, it'll be interesting to see who Lambesis ends up hiring for As I Lay Dying 3.0, and if it'll include any former members. As I Lay Dying is still moving forward with the release of their new album Through Storms Ahead this Friday featuring the lineup of Lambesis, guitarists Phil Sgrosso and Ken Susi, bassist Ryan Neff, and drummer Nick Pierce.

Welcome To Rockville 2025 will take place between May 15 and 18 at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, FL. The lineup so far is as follows, with tickets available here.
