Fear Factory is plotting their first new record since Aggression Continuum in 2021, and first with vocalist Milo Silvestro, for 2024. According to Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares in an interview with Headbangers News, the band is trying to get their first Silvestro-fronted single out this year between all their touring plans. Y'know, that single that was supposed to introduce Silvestro? Still coming.

"That will not be until — a full album not till next year. But this year we're just trying to get a single out… You're gonna have to be patient. Right now we're doing a lot of touring. We're getting asked to do a lot of tours."

In the meantime, the closest thing we've got is a Fear Factory instrumental track called "Robiticist". The song was originally a demo by Cazares to show off his Toneforge Disruptor pack, though it ended up being a full-fledged idea for Fear Factory in the end. "Initially it was just going to be a instrumental for the plugin, but it came out so good that I decided to make it a song for the new album," said Cazares. "Maybe the album will be called the 'Roboticist'. It fits so well with our concept."

Fear Factory is also re-issuing their 2010 album Mechanize and 2012 album The Industrialist, both with some alterations. Mechanize is expanded with three bonus tracks while The Industrialist (now named Re-Industrialized) features live drums, new artwork, six bonus tracks, and is remixed by Greg Reely (Demanufacture, Obsolete, Mechanize).

Both reissues are out June 23, with pre-orders for Mechanize available here and Re-Industrialized here.
