With a 3D movie on the way that reportedly cost $20 million to produce, you'd think the band would shy away from live releases. But, with the holiday season approaching, the band wanted to make sure their fans had something new to give the special somebody in their life who loves Metallica, which is why they previously announced the release of their new live DVD, Quebec Magnetic, for which they just released a trailer:
