UPDATE 1/22/18 – Slayer just confirmed this tour and it most likely (rumored to be this one) will be their last.
Testament's Alex Skolnick was promising a big summer tour and he wasn't underselling it one bit.
It would seem that tour would be Slayer, Lamb of God, Anthrax, Testament and Behemoth all on one bill. Wow!
So far, only one date has surfaced, June 4th in Reading, PA at The Santander Arena. The venue has a capcity for about 7,000 people, just to give you an idea of the size of venues this tour will be playing.
In an interview with Music & Art Interviews that was posted last week, Testament guitarist Alex Skolnick noted that Testament "just signed on to a North American tour that I can't talk about yet." He adds it'll be "one of the biggest tours of the year."
Similarly, on a recent appearance on Jamey Jasta's podcast, Randy Blythe was also teasing a major summer tour, but kept tight-lipped about any details.
Update: Alex Skolnick just retweeted our story about the tour adding "Ta dah!!" Thusly, it's safe to assume this is actually a full tour.
