Cobalt was starting to look like it was about to join the ranks of bands who occasionally generate murmurs of a new album followed by long periods of silence. The band even had its founding guitarist and vocalist, as well as one half of the duo that makes up the entirety of Cobalt, Phil McSorley quit in 2014.
Though unlike the bands who tease and never deliver, Cobalt is finally delivering! With ex-Lord Mantis and current Negatative Approach frontman Charlie Fell behind the microphone and original Cobalt conspirator Erik Wunder handling literally everything else, Cobalt will release its double album Slow Forever on March 25 via Profound Lore Records.
This will be Cobalt's first effort since its landmark Gin record in 2009. Are you stoked on this or are you way stoked on this? There's no not being excited about this one.
