What If MESHUGGAH's Guitar Solos Were Saxophone Solos?

We need more of this immediately.

Saxophonist Patrick Bartley is here to show you that Meshuggah songs actually need more saxophone. Watch as Bartley plays Fredrik Thordendal's guitar solo from the song "Marrow" and not only nails it, but really makes it fit the track.

"Fredrik Thordendal's 2nd solo on 'Marrow.' I've been listening to this band consistently for 3 years now, and once I heard Brian Krock play this solo, I knew I had to do it someday. Shout out to both of these cats for being beasts. Also shout out to Jerome Burns for all his work on Meshuggah's music over the years, go check him out too."

Meshuggah will release their new record Immutable on April 1. Sadly, it does not feature Bartley.
