There's really no question as to what Weeping might sound like. They're called Weeping, their new album is called Ethereal Suffering In The Light Of God, and we're streaming a new song called "Blood Matted Blade" right now. It's going to fuck you up real bad.
As for the concept behind it all, guitarist and vocalist Theo Vlahos explains.
"Ethereal Suffering In The Light Of God thematically showcases human suffering throughout its spectrum of possible experience. While the majority of this EP was recorded with the intention to sonically bludgeon the listener, there are moments where the music allows you to slowly sit with constant discomfort.
"'Blood Matted Blade' is a demonstration in ferocity. Clocking in at a little bit over a minute it serves to be an exhibit of the lack of frills apparent in the rest of the songs on this release."
