Watch: SLIPKNOT Stops Show Mid-Song To Help A Fan Get Medical Attention

Slipknot is here to have a good time, not a dangerous one.

Slipknot cut one song short during an April 11 show in Winnipeg due to a fan needing some medical attention. Vocalist Corey Taylor stopped the song and urged fans to make room for medics to get to the fan in need. Taylor also urged the crowd to be quiet until the medics reached the fan, adding "As soon as they are safe, we're starting this fucking thing again."

"All right, guys, make sure they got room, make sure they got room," said Taylor as transcribed by MetalSucks. "Everybody back up, give 'em room, give 'em room…Everybody back up. Make some room. They can't breathe if everybody's around them. Hold on, guys, no applause yet. I want to make sure they're okay. I want to make sure they get out of the pit, 100% okay… Make some noise for the medics."

It's always great to see an artist care about their fans during a live show. Especially Taylor, who was pretty vocal about the Astroworld tragedy that left nine dead and hundreds injured after a crowd got out of control.

"I'm not going to bring everything down but I feel like it needs to be said. One of the wonderful things about this genre, about this audience, about this family is that we look out for one another," said Taylor from the stage last November, shortly after the tragedy.

"This is supposed to be a place of celebration, of love and about looking out for one another. And everybody that's ever been in a fucking mosh pit knows, if somebody goes down, you get them right the fuck back up. So I want you all to hold on to the memory of those eight souls that we lost."

Slipknot is currently out on the road playing some rarities between the classics.
