Previously unreleased footage of the late Megadeth drummer Nick Menza playing "Reckoning Day" has surfaced. The performance was filmed in March 2014 at Uberbeatz Studios in Seattle, WA and was supposed to be featured on Menza's first-ever instructional DVD Intense Mega Drumming. The DVD has since been shelved and the footage will be used in the upcoming official Nick Menza documentary film This Was My Life – The Story of Nick Menza.
This Was My Life – The Story of Nick Menza is being produced, directed, and edited by Holly Mollohan from Screaming Butterfly Entertainment and is co-produced by ex-Megadeth bassist David Ellefson. Menza drummed in Megadeth between 1989 and 1998, and then again in 2004. He passed away in 2016.
