UMBRA VITAE (CONVERGE, THE RED CHORD) Drops "Ethereal Emptiness" Music Video

Also members of Job for a Cowboy and Hatebreed.

Umbra Vitae recently released their debut album Shadow of Life. The album is available via Deathwish Inc. and you can check out the music video for their track "Ethereal Emptiness" above.

"'Ethereal Emptiness' is about the ferocity of negativity and the complexities that life can sometimes bring," said the band in a statement. "Often it can feel like the fabric of rational being is under attack. When I am faced with that adversity, rather than retreat into an archaic belief system, I regroup and recenter with the intent to find clarity and calm. I attempt to embrace what is rather than what could be. We should cherish that emptiness even though it can be intimidating. It is a true beginning and it’s up to each one of us what we do with it. Below are the lyrics which summarize this idea in a more poetic form."

Umbra Vitae is vocalist Jacob Bannon (Converge, Wear Your Wounds), guitarists Sean Martin (Twitching Tongues, ex-Hatebreed) and Mike McKenzie (The Red Chord, Stomach Earth), bassist Greg Weeks (The Red Chord), and drummer Jon Rice (ex-Job for a Cowboy, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats).
