Trivium guitarist and vocalist Matt Heafy recently celebrated the release of The Witcher Season 2 with a cover of "Burn Butcher Burn." Now he's back with a more metal take on the song and of course it rules. The song is sung by Joey Batey, who plays Jaskier the bard, and was written by both Batey and Joseph Trapanese.
Heafy signed a solo deal with Trivium's label Roadrunner Records in 2020, and celebrated with a cover of the Internet-hit song "Toss a Coin to Your Witcher" from the first season of The Witcher. You can check that out here.
