Dan Davidson is the ex-vocalist and guitarist of Tupelo Honey, and is currently having a very successful solo career as a country musician in Canada. Before Davidson acquired his solo records and top 20 singles, he was a die-hard metal head playing in rock and metal bands.
Now Davidson is getting back in touch with his metal roots. Davidson recently spoke to MetalSucks alongside his premiere of a bluegrass cover of Megadeth's "Symphony Of Destruction", saying about bluegrass “I couldn’t believe the precision, the rawness, and the spirit of it all. I equate it to the ‘shred’ of country – for some reason it gives me that same feeling – so much energy. Ive been obsessed ever since.”
