SPARROWS Goes Quiet And Then Explodes On New Song "A Little Crowded Death"

It's like an extra crunchy Deftones.

Sparrows' new song "A Little Crowded Death" might start off calm, but don't let that fool you. Sparrows is about to catch you off guard and straight up break your jaw if you're careful. If you're a fan of Deftones-esque builds into crushing grooves and Møl-type blasts of distortion from the quiet, then you're going to dig this.

Here's what Sparrows' Dan Thomson had to say about the track.

"'A Little Crowded Death', to me, is the push off point for the record, lyrically speaking. This song was finished later on in the writing process, and I realized very quickly after finishing the lyrics that I needed to go back and redo a bunch of the other songs. It's like this song triggered an opening that was more honest and forthcoming with the sheer bitterness and decay that was surrounding everything going on with us, and it pretty much opened the door to the onslaught."

Sparrows will release Failed Gods on August 9 via Sound Anxiety Recordings, and will be touring this June.
