Slipknot is now streaming their music video for the track "Hive Mind". The video was directed by band founder and percussionist M. Shawn "Clown" Crahan, so of course it's all types of gloriously weird (and fairly bloody). "Hive Mind" is from Slipknot's latest record The End, So Far released in 2022.
Slipknot has been keeping themselves in the spotlight lately. The band announced their vinyl reissue of their legendary sold-out 2009 concert at New York City's Madison Square Garden available here, and were recently revealed as one of the headliners for Sick New World alongside System Of A Down.
And who knows, maybe 2024 is even the year we get Slipknot's long-awaited unreleased record Look Outside Your Window? Look Outside Your Window was originally slated for release on Christmas Day 2019, and then again for after April of this year. Then in an interview earlier this year with NME, Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor said he believes Look Outside Your Window is finally coming in 2024. Taylor said he's accidentally been the holdup for its release, adding that Crahan has jokingly blamed him and all the non-Slipknot stuff he's been doing in recent years.
