ROT TV's New Song "Ready To Die" Is Gloriously Anarchic Rock

Like the Australian version of New York Dolls.

South-Eastern Australia punk-meets-rock unit Rot TV is here to put a beer in your hand with their new single "Ready To Die." The band features guitarist Graham Clise (Lecherous Gaze, Witch) and vocalist Harriet Hudson-Clise (Southern Comfort, Miss Destiny), and offers up riffs akin to New York Dolls and The Damned.

"Tales Of Torment was a blast to record! We spread the twelve recording days over a whole month, so none of us got too burnt out or sick of one another," said Hudson-Clise. "Rob Muiños, our engineer ended up playing second guitar on the entire record at the last minute which saved our asses, and paid off, because we're all happy with how it came out. Especially our new single, 'Ready to Die.'

"I've been friends with Angie Garrick since I was sixteen, and have been in two bands with her (Circle Pit and Southern Comfort) so for me it was a no brainer to hire her for the music video. She is a pleasure to collaborate with time after time. We didn't really give her too much direction, just sent her a bunch of demented images and let her do her thing."

Tales Of Torment is out February 18. Pre-orders are available here, and the single is available here.
