Jim Carrey, noted metalhead and actor extraordinaire, will have a new crime thriller called Dark Crimes out in theaters on May 18. The movie stars Carey, French actress and musician Charlotte Gainsbourg, Finnish actress Kati Outinen, and apparently one-woman black metal phenomenon Myrkur in some capacity.
No word on if Myrkur is actually in the film itself, but her song "Skøgen Skulle Dø" is used in the trailer above. Now if we could just get Jim Carrey to come around on being a Cannibal Corpse fan, maybe they could come do some work in Dark Crimes too…
