Metallica is now streaming "Ride The Lightning" from their recent appearance at the Boston Calling festival in Boston, MA on May 29. The band crushes the song, and I still genuinely think Lars Ulrich sounds the best he's sounded behind the kit in years – dude is just solid these days. Now if we could only get Jason Newsted up on the stage with the band one of these days…
As has been reported here, there's a lot of activity in the Metallica camp, though nothing that points directly to a follow up to 2016's Hardwired…To Self-Destruct. In the meantime, the band has launched one hell of a vinyl turntable in conjunction with Pro-Ject that you can check out here.
