For the fifth year in a row, Metallica took to the field at AT&T Park to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" before a San Francisco Giants baseball game. Metallica really have a lot of fun at these games and they took things a step further this time,
with Kirk Hammett performing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" during the seventh inning stretch. Watch that below.
That wasn't all. James and Robert helped out the groundsmen, and Lars Ulrich threw out the ceremonial first pitch. See video of his pitch, which just makes it over the plate, in the slideshow below:
Sadly, Metallica's presence did not help bring the Giants to victory, as they lost to the Cubs 5 to 3.
