Last night, March 13th, was the kick off to Mark Morton's solo tour, celebrating his new solo album, Anesthetic, at The Broadberry in Richmond, Virginia.
Seeing as though this all went down in Lamb of God's hometown, frontman Randy Blythe decided to hop on stage and have some fun with the band and join in on the performance of "The Truth is Dead."
Morton's band on the tour includes vocalist Mark Morales (Sons of Texas), guitarist Doc Coyle (Bad Wolves), bassist Nick Villarreal (Sons of Texas) and drummer Art Cruz (Prong, Winds of Plague).
Also on the tour are Light The Torch and Moon Tooth. Here are the remaining dates:
Mar. 14 – Philadelphia, PA – Underground Arts
Mar. 15 – Toronto, ON – Lee’s Palace
Mar. 16 – Montreal, QC – L’Astral
Mar. 18 – Boston, MA – Brighton Music Hall
Mar. 19 – New York, NY – The Gramercy Theatre
Mar. 21 – Chicago, IL – Bottom Lounge
Mar. 23 – Colorado Springs, CO – The Black Sheep
Mar. 25 – West Hollywood, CA – The Roxy Theatre
Mar. 26 – Phoenix, AZ – Club Red
After this solo run, Lamb of God will return to the touring stage, as direct support for Slayer on their final North American dates. We're giving away a pair of tickets to each stop of the tour.
