Lebanese Metal Band DEATH TRIBE Calls For Revolution With New Track "Thawra"

It's pretty apparent that the guys in Lebanese metal band, Death Tribe, are angry and their latest track, "Thawra", wants you to be angry too.

The band was formed in the war torn, scarred streets of Beirut. Built on a foundation of straight rage toward the multitude of atrocities supported by radical ideologies, culminating in the recent explosion in Beirut. Their music is the embodiment of the demand for change. Their message is simple: don't accept the status quo and shape your own fate.

"THAWRA" is chapter 2 of the Red Experiment movie by Death Tribe. This chapter is dedicated to all those affected by the Beirut Explosion and those revolting against corrupt governments that is bleeding their country dry.

On the afternoon of 4 August 2020, two explosions occurred at the port of the city of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. The second explosion was extremely powerful, and caused at least 220 deaths, 7,000 injuries, US$10–15 billion in property damage, and left an estimated 300,000 people homeless due to government negligence of 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate stored unsafely at Beirut Port since 2014. Lebanon was already in a very bad Economic Crisis that was exploding in the form of a revolution (Thawra) since October 2019. Bad planning, corruption and the sudden shock of a deadly pandemic (COVID19) have caused the Lebanese currency to crash 85% and consumer prices to jump.

The song itself is a sub-genre-bender, mixing the style of black metal and heavy metal and everything in between. Definitely a fitting ode to those that share in their anger toward corruption. This track is also about raising awareness on what is happening in Beirut and all proceeds from sales of the track will be donated to Beirut Disaster Fund.
