Our friends at the YouRock foundation are trying to shed a light on something they feel not a lot of people talk about: depression and how it relates to musicians. Previously, they've gotten musicians such as The Dillinger Escape Plan's Ben Weinman and Slipknot's Corey Taylor to open up about their struggles to give some hope to a fan who might be watching that has their own struggles to deal with.
Recently, YouRock got a chance to speak with Korn frontman Jonathan Davis, who talked about his battles with anxiety and how they led to schizophrenia and depression. It's a truly eye-opening video. Watch it above. While I can't say I agree with his advice at the end about if you want to be an alcoholic, go for it, the idea of living a guilt-free life does sound pretty good.
