Indian Djent Act DYMBUR Brings the Groovy, Proggy Heat in "Capital Vices" Music Video

Dymbur is an Shillong, India-based progressive metal/djent group consisting of Julian Andrew Lyngdoh (vocals), Cornelius Kharsyntiew (guitar), Mayson Dkhar (bass), and Achugra Sangma (drums). The act are preparing to release their debut conceptual LP The Legend of Thraat this year.

Metal Injection is proud to exclusively premiere the single "Capital Vices" off the album. Guitarist Cornelius stated, “This song speaks about the greatest sins of mankind i.e. The Seven Deadly Sins – Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, Vanity, Greed, and Sloth. As much as metal prefers to be about condemning the wicked ways of the world and often, introspecting our worse fears, there is also a lesson about human nature and its negativity. This is something that we want to tell you about through this new song.”

The track portrays the chunky grooves shown in bands like After the Burial or Veil of Maya with experimental rhythmic variations akin to Sikth. Overall, "Capital Vices" is a powerful example of modern international metal and proof that the djent virus has officially spread to a worldwide level. Check out the music video now and keep your eye out for the upcoming album.
