Did you think you finally escaped hearing "Let It Go" from Disney's 2013 movie Frozen? Because Nightwish vocalist Floor Jansen is here to make you realize you absolutely haven't. Jansen revealed she chose to cover the song due to her three-year old daughter Freja' love of the track.
"Freja has been listening to [and] singing ‘Let It Go’ from the Disney movie, Frozen, for months. For fun and also because I miss performing for you, I decided to cover ‘Let It Go’ from Frozen for all of you! ‘Let It Go’ has been stuck in my head for months, so now it’s your turn."
All instruments for the track were recorded by Oscar Fläring of The Fouxes. As for "Let It Go", it's currently sitting at a 8x Platinum certification by the RIAA. Meaning the track has achieve over 8 million sales and equivalent streaming sales.
