GREEN LUNG Streams Political Music Video For "Leaders Of The Blind"

The riffs are also excellent.

Green Lung is back with all the guitar harmonies, organ riffs, and soaring vocals you could ever want by way of their new single "Leaders Of The Blind". We're premiering the band's new music video for the single, which Green Lung points out is their most political effort to date.

‘"'Leaders of the Blind' is the most overtly political song we've written, and we wanted to create a visual link between our long-standing obsession with British folklore and the radical message of the song with this video," said the band.

"Billy Price, the video’s director (and drummer for our former tourmates Puppy!) did a tireless job of sourcing and collating hundreds of archive images, melding together footage of the miner’s strikes, the Suffragettes and the first Pride marches with traditional British customs that have a similarly radical collective power. It’s intended as a transcendent celebration of communal ritual both ancient and modern, and of old, wyrd Britain!"

Green Lung's new album Black Harvest was produced by Wayne Adams (Petbrick, Big Lad), mastered by John Davis at Metropolis (Led Zeppelin, Royal Blood), and given artwork by Richard Wells (Doctor Who, Dracula, Ben Wheatley’s In the Earth). Black Harvest is available for pre-order here and here.
