Gatecreeper is back and they're still heavy as shit. Gatecreeper is now streaming their new, Dismember-worshippin' new single "Caught In The Treads" produced and mixed by Kurt Ballou (Converge, High On Fire, etc.). No new album has yet been announced, but here's hoping that comes along shortly.
"Lyrically the song is about a supernaturally charged fleet of tanks that have been possessed by the souls of fallen soldiers. It's about revenge and crushing your enemies," said Gatecreeper vocalist Chase H. Mason. Expanding on the music video he mentions, "As soon as we finished recording, we started sneaking this song into our live set. We brought along our own VHS camera and had our friends film the shows where they could."
Gatecreeper will hit the road later this year with In Flames and Creeping Death as support. The tour will kick off the excursion on May 1 in Portland, ME and will wrap it up on May 26 in Dallas, TX. Tickets are available here.
