In March 2013, vocalist Jonathan Carpenter quit The Contortionist to go raise his child and Last Chance to Reason vocalist Mike Lessard stepped in. Now, for the first time since Carpenter's departure, he's joined the band live on stage! On November 1 at the Beat Kitchen in Chicago, the band performed "Exoplanet III: Light" from their 2010 debut LP Exoplanet with both vocalists on throat-shredding duties.
According to the YouTube user who uploaded the clip, Carpenter was in the crowd the whole show and ran up on stage during that song.
