The rock and metal world is still reeling from the sudden death of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington. Bennington naturally had a lot of friends who were very shaken by the news, one of whom was Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor.
During the band's show last night in Mansfield, MA, Taylor dedicated Stone Sour’s “Through Glass” to Chester saying “We all lost somebody today. I lost a friend. And this was one of his favorite songs. I wanna dedicate it to him. Chester, we will fucking miss you.” Watch the full speech above. Here is an alternate angle, where you can clearly see Taylor getting choked up:

Stone Sour weren't the only band to pay tribute to Chester that night. Following their set, Korn took the stage and right before playing “4 U,” frontman Jonathan Davis said “I want to dedicate this song tonight to our homeboy, Chester Bennington y’all. Y’all make some noise for Chester, we love you brother!” Footage of that performance is below. View more tributes here.
