Coliseum always came off to me as a punk band more than anything, which is why I'm a little surprised at the direction for the new song "We Are the Water." I love it because it combines this very straightforward rock feel to it with a trippy, almost psychedelic edge to the guitar work. Check it out and decide for yourselves! Maybe I'm just not inspecting the band's sound to a degree some fans are.
Coliseum will be dropping its new record Anxiety's Kiss on May 5 via Deathwish Records.
