CITY OF CATERPILLAR Announces First New Record In 20 Years, Streams "Decider"

As chaotic as ever.

City Of Caterpillar is back to finally follow up their 2002 self-titled debut album! The band will release Mythic Sisters on September 30 and is now streaming their first new single in as many years, "Decider." It's as chaotic as you'd expect, though given the excellent songwriting, it doesn't feel too insane.

"The band is always focused on mood," said guitarist and vocalist Brandon Evans of the new album. "To me, that's the most important thing. I don't really want people dissecting what we're trying to say, because it's not really about us. It never has been. What we cared about 20 years ago was innocent, raw emotion, and that's what we care about now."

Mythic Sisters was primarily at Montrose Recording in Richmond, was self-produced by the band, and mixed and mastered by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Bosse-de-Nage). Pre-orders are available here. You can also catch City Of Caterpillar on tour at one of the dates below.
