Boris and Merzbow are back with another collaborative album, this time bidding farewell to this awful year. The collaboration will release 2R0I2P0 on December 11 and are now streaming their cover of Melvins 1991 track "Boris", which of course Boris is named after. It also doesn't sound very much like the original, which is both refreshing and expected given the parties involved.
"This year was a period of trial for everyone in the world," said Boris. "This work becomes a monument to the requiem of the previous era. From here, a new world begins again."
