Babymetal has been a very divisive metal group in the 2010s, though the division is an interesting one. Half the metal world thinks its fun and just gets that it's supposed to be a blast, and the other half cries "PEDOPHILE" while retreating to its trve metal cave where nobody can hurt its opinion ever again. There's also a smaller third camp of people who just say "this isn't for me, but whatever," and we salute those people. They're regular.
You know who else doesn't care if you like Babymetal? Babymetal. At least that's what I gather from this video of the band reacting to people reacting to the group.
