WHORES. Announce Debut Album Gold, Tease New Song

Atlanta noise heathens Whores. have premiered the first taste of new music (albeit 14 seconds worth) in a video seen above announcing their debut album, entitled Gold, due out October 28 via Entertainment One.

Gold was recorded at Parhelion Studios with producer Ryan Boesch, who has worked with the likes of Helmet, Fu Manchu and (the) Melvins. The artwork for the album was handled by Patrick Copeland.

It's crazy to think it's been three years since the power trio's last effort, 2013's EP Clean. Also recorded by Boesch, Clean sold out within a month and is in its fourth pressing. Angry and aggressive, the above song snippet stays along the path that the band's contemporaries in (the) Melvins, Big Business and Helmet have paved before them.

The band recorded the album in Atlanta throughout the summer. Here's what frontman Christian Lembach had to say:

"We've spent the ATL summer blasting feedback and pick slides in a sweaty, metal box," says guitarist/vocalist Christian Lembach. "This is the result. Solid. Fucking. Gold."

Earlier this month, Red Fang announced that Whores. would be joining Torche and supporting Red Fang's upcoming U.S. tour. But before they do that, the band will perform on these dates:
