Trivium is hard at work at a new release as we speak. The band had been demoing songs on their own for the last four and a half months and is currently at Audiohammer Studios doing pre-production with evil genius Jason Suecof, the man who produced all but their last two records. Once pre-production is done, Colin Richardson will take over the reigns of Audiohammer studios to produce the album in December. This will be the first time the band is recording with new drummer Nick Augusto, and have hinted at a heavier record with less "shred-happy" tracks, instead focusing on to-the-point catchy songs. It will be interesting to see what the band comes up with. An early 2011 release is expected through Roadrunner Records.
