Korn have been dropping hints about their new record for a while now and it looks like the band is finally ready to hunker down and get to work on a new album, their twelfth studio release. Guitarist Brian "Head" Welch recently spoke to AltPress and offered an update on what the record is sounding like:
"Me and Munky stopped playing together for eight years when I was gone. We did the last record and we just clicked, and it was awesome. But, to me, we've gotten used to each other again, and it's gonna be a more guitar-focused record. It's gonna be a little bit more technical — for Korn, anyway. So I just think it's… We're exactly where we wanna be as guitar-duo brothers."
When asked for a possible timetable for the release, Head said the band is eyeing for a fall of 2016 release to give them plenty of time to record all the demos they've been cranking out. Head said the band have also settled on a producer but they're not ready to divulge that info.
