Look. We're not saying The Sword named its new record High Country because it's about a nation of stoners, but we're also not not saying that that's the case. What we do know currently is that the album was produced by Adrian Quesada and mixed by J. Robbins (Clutch, Coliseum) and that the album will be out on August 21 via Razor and Tie.
Dumbass jokes aside, The Sword has always been pretty good about lyrically weaving tales of interesting fantasy worlds in this retro-futuristic kind of way. Like watching a VHS in the year 2030 while sitting on your hover couch or something like that… the bottom line is that The Sword is doing things musically and that's super exciting.
Still, it could be about a stoner country.
